Job Description We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Freelance Event Manager to support our Ad Sales Engagement & Events team. Reporting to the SVP, Ad Sales Strategic Initiatives, Engagement & Events, this role will be responsible for planning and executing a range of events that support our sales organization, including bespoke client experiences, internal engagement initiatives, and on-the-ground event execution.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and is comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously while delivering high-quality experiences for clients and internal stakeholders.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITES:

• Plan and execute bespoke client events that support sales relationships and business development efforts
• Manage internal engagement events, including team gatherings, leadership meetings, and employee experiences
• Provide on-site event management and production support, ensuring seamless execution from setup through breakdown
• Coordinate event logistics including venue sourcing, vendor management, catering, production, transportation, and guest experience
• Partner closely with the SVP, Ad Sales Engagement & Events, the sales organization, and internal stakeholders to ensure events align with client engagement objectives
• Manage timelines, run-of-show documents, budgets, and event communications
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve in real time to ensure a high-quality experience for all attendees
• Provide on-the-ground support for events, including travel when required
• This role supports a dynamic events calendar and is not a traditional 9–5 position
• Candidate must be reachable and responsive when events are underway
• Evening events and occasional extended hours will be required based on the event schedule
• Flexibility and a solutions-oriented mindset are essential

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• 5+ years of experience in event planning, experiential, or media/events environments
• Proven experience managing client-facing events and corporate programs
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems quickly during live events
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, based on event needs

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $45.00-55.00 per hour.
