Document and Compliance Team Lead The position is located at Georgia Power Company’s corporate office in Atlanta, Georgia or at a local Georgia Power Operating Headquarters (specific location TBD by hiring manager) and is subject to the company’s hybrid work policy which currently is four (4) days per week in the office or onsite at an affiliated office. Some travel (up to 25% & potentially overnight) may be required with little to no advanced notice.
Job Summary The primary responsibility of the Document and Compliance Team Lead is to serve as point person and leader of (i) the Document Coordinators, who record the easements, deeds, leases, and other agreements documenting Georgia Power’s acquisition of property rights; (ii) the Title 22 Compliance Specialist and Compliance Administrators, who ensure that the company complies with all applicable condemnation (Eminent Domain) statutes; and (iii) Title Specialists, who conduct title searches to verify ownership and identify any potential issues with the title.
The Team Lead provides leadership and direction to the team, ensuring successful planning and execution of processes, and maintaining high performance standards. Additional responsibilities include monitoring performance, providing feedback, and ensuring quality assurance.
Education Requirements A high school diploma is required. A Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree is highly preferred.
