Responsibilities, aka, what we’d like you to deliver :
Maintain and oversee the general ledger to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
Review and reconcile general ledger accounts on a regular basis.
Oversee the complete Payroll accounting Process (including ESOP) for Zepto group in compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
Ensuring compliance of all the Payroll related areas including Actuarial Valuation
Governance of company’s G&A cost including employee & other cost.
Ensuring Capitalisation of Technology cost working with Tech team to identify the projects for capitalisation
Ensuring Governance of ESOPs including analysis & projection of ESOP expenses.
Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
Prepare audit schedules and documentation to support the audit process.
Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Coordinate with external auditors (Big Four firms) to facilitate annual audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Are you who we're searching for
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4+ years of relevant experience in payroll accounting and financial reporting
Strong hands-on experience in end-to-end payroll processes, including compliance and reconciliations
Good understanding of accounting standards, audits, and statutory requirements related to payroll
