Key Responsibilities:

• Review of Trial Balance & Financial statements for Investment Manager clients
• Review of Financials of Mutual fund, experience in fund accounting, Knowledge, and practical exposure on IFRS9, 13 and 7.
• Review of Risk management disclosures for Superannuation clients
• Ensure that all deliverables are updated, completed and delivered according to agreed timetables and client SLAs
• Provide assistance to the Senior Manager in relation to financial reporting related issues
• Assist and facilitate communication with clients on their reporting requirements and queries

Skills & Experience Required:

• Upto 5 years’ experience in financial reporting within financial and/or professional services
• Effective planning and time management skills, with demonstrated initiative and proactive approach to managing dynamic workload and overtime during Financial year end
• Experience in a CA or CPA firm would be highly regarded
• Strong excel skills
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including high emotional intelligence to partner effectively with stakeholders
• Experience in statutory reporting and applications of accounting standards in accordance with AASB & IFRS

Preferred Qualifications:

• A tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related discipline
• CA / CPA qualifications
