Your Role And Responsibilities
Senior Strategy Consultant, IBM Corporation, New York, NY (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted):
Work with large datasets and apply advanced statistical models for data analysis.
Perform data analysis tasks such as data cleaning, exploratory data analysis, and model building.
Apply mathematical and statistical concepts to analyze and solve issues.
Analyze, design, and oversee implementation of sophisticated machine learning models.
Formulate and test hypotheses.
Implement rigorous experimentation and data analysis, utilizing experience in designing experiments and conducting statistical analyses.
Engage with clients through clear communication, apply analytical thinking, and collaborate closely to address their requirements effectively.
Bridge the gap between technical and business knowledge.
Analyze client business issues.
Understand specific challenges and objectives of the business.
Translate technical findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders and convey complex concepts effectively.
Manage project timelines, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure data science solutions align with business goals.
Set roadmaps for projects and individual responsibilities.
Work on projects involving sensitive data or potential ethical dilemmas, handle data responsibly, maintain privacy, and ensure the ethical use of data in decision-making processes.
Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables.
Analyze financial and operational data to improve operational efficiency.
Recommend new methods, systems, procedures, or organizational changes.
Required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Project Management Specialist or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Statistical Analysis, Project & Program Management, Organizational Change Management, Six Sigma & Organizational Design, Hypothesis Testing & Experiment design, Python (Programming Language), Advanced Excel. $169541 to $193000 per year. Required Technical And Professional Expertise
