Job summary

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to support our financial operations and reporting. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial statements, maintaining compliance, and improving accounting processes. In this role you will be also managing and executing accounting activities related to mergers, demergers, and business transitions. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and help mentor junior accounting staff.

 

What you will do

• Prepare and review monthly, and annual close activities.
• Prepare annual financial statements
• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with USGAAP and local GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Assist with revenue, expense, accrual, and balance sheet accounting
• Assist with internal and external audits, including audit documentation
• Analyse financial data and investigate variances
• Improve and document accounting processes and controls
• Mentor and review work of junior accountants
• Collaborate with finance, tax, and operations teams as needed
• Support transition and accounting for acquisitions and divestitures

 

What you will have

• Preferred bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word, and/or any other products within the Microsoft Suite
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis and reporting
• Excellent analytical, documentation and communication skills
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong experience in balance sheet reconciliations, book closures and data migration.
• Should be flexible in shift timings
