About This Role Managing Director, Head of Hosting Infrastructure Services Engineering Head of Aladdin Platform Engineering Infrastructure Services Responsible for managing the infrastructure layer for BlackRock and Aladdin across Public and Private Cloud and Colo Sites. Responsibilities include the Compute platform (across Unix(/Linux), Windows, Virtualization, Kubernetes), Cloud infrastructure (Terraform based resource and environment/services management) across Azure, AWS, GCP and OCI and the Storage infrastructure (e.g. NetApp / NetApp CVO, Block storage, etc.), across public and private clouds. The role is responsible for engineering and operations across these technologies inclusive of all the cost management aspects (infrastructure/staffing). Operates in partnership with the Hosting core platform (App Hosting, Networking, Database functions and Cloud managed PaaS services) enabling the Aladdin core platform as well as services for Enterprise BlackRock. Additionally responsible for the global hosting strategy for core infrastructure services including enabling the AI infrastructure.

The Platform Engineering Team is a critical function as part of the Aladdin Engineering organization and is responsible for designing, delivering, and operating an open, resilient, cost-efficient and scalable technology platform that empowers innovation in the Aladdin ecosystem. This team is a foundational part of protecting our estate and driving new revenue and scale channels for our clients and BlackRock.
As a highly skilled and experienced technical and enterprise leader for Hosting Services in the Platforms team you will contribute as a relentless driving force behind the transformation of our organization and empowerment of the developer community within and beyond the walls of BlackRock. For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$275,000.00 - USD$350,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
