Lead Associate - Buying & Merchandising (Nautica) Roles & Responsibilties Develop and manage the product roadmap for assigned apparel
categories, aligning with brand strategy and business objectives.
Conduct market research, trend analysis, and competitive
benchmarking to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Collaborate with design, merchandising, sourcing, and marketing
teams to develop and launch new product collections.
Work closely with production teams and to some extend with
vendors to ensure product quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
Analyze sales data, customer insights, and market trends to
drive continuous product improvement and refine assortment planning.
Work with marketing and branding teams to develop compelling
go-to-market strategies and product storytelling.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports
for senior management on product performance and market trends.
Responsible for achieving BM and revenue as per budget
E-com Ecom specific product assortment : Taking feedback from category
team and demand teams, consolidating the same, research for latest online
trends in line with brand guardrails and converting into assortment plan for
online channel
Managing site merchandising – Ensuring Product listing is done,
Inventory is live and Discount uploading is done and ASP is maintained by
respective category team
Collaborating with store/pricing/category/demand team for
driving promotion/visibility strategies
Manage omnichannel business with stakeholders
