ShareChat (Mohalla Tech Pvt Ltd) is India’s largest homegrown social media company and the only local player to achieve profitability in the industry, with 200+ million Monthly Monetizable Users across all its platforms.
Founded in 2015, ShareChat has social media brands such as the ShareChat App and Moj App and micro drama app QuickTV under its portfolio. QuickTV, the newest addition to ShareChat's family of apps, crossed the 10 million downloads mark within 3 months of launch and currently has 60Mn MAUs across the network viewing the vertical episodic content.
Today, the ShareChat network maintains a whopping 1,000 Cr ARR and is India’s leading social media platform servicing users across the country in 15 regional languages. This growth has led to a 28% YoY revenue growth in the July-Sept (2025-26) quarter and increased it by more than 60% in the Oct-Dec quarter.
What You’ll Do?
- Collaborate with the UX design team to create a visually enthralling and cohesive user interface that elevates the user experience to new heights.
- Skillfully craft user interface designs, including wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, to effectively communicate your groundbreaking design ideas and concepts.
- Develop and maintain design guidelines that inspire consistency and harmony across all visual elements.
- Implement and evolve the visual language of the product across digital mediums, contributing to the design system.
- Join forces with the development team to implement and optimize UI designs, ensuring seamless integration with the app's functionality.
- Conduct user research or usability testing to gather invaluable feedback, making iterative enhancements to design concepts based on genuine user insights.
- Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, incorporating avant-garde design elements that captivate and delight our users.
- Be an integral part of a high-performance culture and take ownership of your role, actively participating in team discussions and design reviews.
Who are you?
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in visual or user interface design, preferably within the entertainment or mobile app industry.
- A striking portfolio that showcases your expertise in UI design, visual design principles, and user-centered design methodologies.
- Up-to-date on fundamentals and contemporary trends in graphic design for creating layouts, implementing typography, understanding color theory and basics of motion design.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Proficiency in AI, able to use it to speed up processes, generate visuals and basic designs to aid timely delivery in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced startup environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Knowledge of regional languages and familiarity with Bharat's rich cultural fabric is a strong plus. (Preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field. (Preferred)
