We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) with 3-5 years of experience to ensure the highest standards of supplier quality and performance. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection), with a proven track record of working closely with suppliers to drive quality improvements, ensure compliance, and support new product development initiatives.

Requirements Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the PPAP process for new and existing components, ensuring all documentation and submissions meet customer and organizational requirements.
• Review and approve PPAP documents including control plans, PFMEA, process flow diagrams, dimensional reports, and material certifications.
• Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) to verify product quality before shipment, ensuring adherence to specifications and customer expectations.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues through root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Perform supplier audits (process, system, and product) to ensure compliance with quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics such as PPM, on-time delivery, and quality trends, and drive improvement plans where necessary.
• Support new product development by working cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams.
• Ensure effective implementation of quality tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, SPC, MSA, and APQP.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to promote a culture of quality and accountability.
• Participate in internal and external quality reviews and customer audits as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field.
• 3-5 years of experience in supplier quality or manufacturing quality roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with PPAP and PDI processes is mandatory.
• In-depth knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 is preferred.
• Familiarity with core quality tools: APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and control plans.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation tools.
• Willingness to travel to supplier locations as needed.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in automotive or manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
• Certification in quality (e.g., Six Sigma Green Belt) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple suppliers/projects simultaneously
