Role Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-driven professional to audit
English and Science live classes for Grades 1–8
. The role focuses on ensuring
curriculum alignment, conceptual accuracy, content quality, and effective teacher delivery
in an online edtech environment.
The ideal candidate will bring strong subject expertise across English and/or Science, along with a structured approach to quality control, feedback, and data-driven improvements.
Subject Expertise
English
- Strong understanding of reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, speaking, and comprehension progression
- Ability to identify gaps in language accuracy, grammar explanations, reading load, pronunciation, and writing instruction
- Expertise in reviewing passages, worksheets, and activity flow for readability and skill alignment
Science
- Strong understanding of concept progression, scientific accuracy, and inquiry-based learning
- Ability to identify misconceptions, weak examples, incorrect diagrams, and depth mismatch
- Expertise in reviewing experiments, demonstrations, diagrams, and concept explanations
Key Responsibilities
1. Live Class Quality Control (QC)
- Audit live classes (English & Science) to ensure
CBSE/ICSE alignment
, concept clarity, and age-appropriate delivery
- Evaluate teacher performance including:
- Explanation clarity and communication
- Concept delivery and accuracy
- Questioning techniques and student engagement
- Track syllabus coverage across batches; identify gaps such as:
- Missed topics or repetition
- Improper sequencing
- Incomplete learning outcomes
2. Content Creation & PPT QC
- Review PPTs, lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and teacher notes
- Ensure:
- Language accuracy (English)
- Scientific correctness (Science)
- Clarity, structure, and learner-friendly content
- Validate examples, diagrams, grammar rules, and instructions for grade-level appropriateness
- Flag issues and support corrective actions before and after class delivery
3. Teacher Feedback, Training & School Coordination
- Provide structured, actionable feedback to teachers on:
- Explanation methods and clarity
- Classroom engagement and interaction
- Concept simplification and misconception handling
- Identify recurring issues and contribute to teacher training initiatives
- Collaborate with schools, mentors, content teams, and operations teams
- Address parent/student concerns and ensure timely resolution
4. Data Management, Reporting & Issue Closure
- Maintain structured records including:
- Audit trackers
- Syllabus coverage sheets
- Feedback logs and action trackers
- Prepare concise reports highlighting:
- Issues, impact, and priority
- Recommended actions and timelines
- Monitor closure of issues and ensure proper documentation
- Manage data related to audits, QC, feedback, and escalations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Science, or related field (B.Ed. preferred)
- Experience in teaching, academic quality, curriculum review, live class auditing, or teacher training
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple workflows independently with high ownership
Online EdTech Skills
- Strong understanding of online pedagogy and virtual classroom standards
- Proficiency in:
- Google Workspace / Microsoft Office
- Google Slides / PowerPoint
- Spreadsheets and LMS tools
- Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams
- Ability to analyze recorded sessions, student engagement, and teacher performance
- Comfortable managing dashboards, trackers, and reporting workflows
- Strong learner-first approach with sensitivity to student, parent, and school needs
