The most caring thing you can do for a student who reached 99% of their target is to decline calling it complete. If that expectation makes you uneasy, this position isn't the right fit. If it energizes you because you understand that maintaining high standards is how you demonstrate belief in a student's ability to succeed, continue reading.
Alpha operates differently from conventional schools. Students complete a full day's worth of academics in roughly two hours using adaptive software. No classroom lectures. No traditional textbooks. Your role focuses on what technology cannot deliver: guiding young people through essential life skills such as public speaking, concentration, and how to give and receive feedback. You'll facilitate interactive workshops, inspire students to exceed their learning targets, and develop the types of connections where a reserved 4th grader ultimately presents with confidence before a room of adults.
This position grows with you. During your first year, you'll manage a small student cohort and become proficient in Alpha's methodology: life skill workshops, motivation coaching, and mastery-based evaluation. Once you demonstrate the ability to hold every student accountable to 100% goal achievement while maintaining satisfaction scores above 90%, opportunities open for advancement to Lead Guide, where you'll mentor a team while remaining directly engaged with students. The highest performers in this role don't just transform individual students; they influence how an entire campus functions.
You won't encounter this opportunity at a conventional school. If you've been coaching, counseling, or mentoring young people and have wished you could eliminate traditional instruction to focus on genuine personal development, this is your opportunity.
