Alpha students do not attend traditional lectures. They engage with AI-driven adaptive software that allows them to progress through academic content at their own speed—sometimes completing an entire grade level in a matter of weeks. Your role encompasses everything the technology cannot provide: guiding students through setbacks, teaching them to deliver constructive feedback, maintaining standards that stretch their perceived limits, and fostering genuine enthusiasm for coming to school. You will facilitate hands-on workshops focused on life skills such as public speaking, focus techniques, and time management, followed by motivational sessions designed to cultivate authentic engagement rather than passive compliance.
This is not a conventional classroom setting. You will support a small, named cohort of K-12 learners. Using Coachbot analytics, you will monitor their development, identify obstacles, and teach them strategies for self-correction. Success is measurable: when 100% of your cohort meets weekly objectives and 90% provide positive feedback in surveys, you will have proof that the model succeeds because of your execution.
Guides who excel with their cohorts advance to Lead Guide roles—mentoring other Guides and influencing campus-wide delivery of Alpha's mission. Working with us This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
