Overview We're hiring a Lead Principal Engineer to join People and Legal Tech, reporting into our Head of Engineering, Enterprise Technology.
Atlassian focuses on making teams successful, and Enterprise Technology focuses on helping the people that make up those teams be successful in their careers. From building 0->1 products, to collaborating with product and platform teams across the company to make Atlassian’s products work exceptionally well for HR and Legal use-cases at enterprise scale (data governance, access and audit control, flexibility and scale, etc.).
While our primary focus in on solving for Atlassian’s internal needs, we are responsible for Talent (part of Strategy Collection), and work closely with and influence external product teams

To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience.
Role In the United States , we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: USD 279900 - USD 365425
Zone B: USD 252000 - USD 329000
Zone C: USD 233100 - USD 304325
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
