Key Responsibilities Expertise in integrated dynamic subsurface characterization, including demonstrated knowledge of well surveillance, pressure transient analysis, production forecasting, simulation, network modeling, and reserves assessment. Responsibilities include reservoir management, maintaining reservoir simulation models/workflows to generate reliable production forecasting, performing value engineering work to support development plan decisions, reserves determination, support assurance activities, reservoir depletion studies, and reservoir management deliverables.
Ability to utilize multiple datasets for integrated interpretation. Proficient in simulation software (e.g. CMG/ECLIPSE) and able to utilize/update simulation models, collaborate with earth scientists, and support new model construction.
Experience utilizing workflows and tools (e.g. IPM) for generating new asset development opportunities to mature resources to reserves to production, assessing/mitigating risk, advancing capital projects, and supporting business planning.
Skill collaborating and communicating with technical peers, cross-disciplinary teams, and other stakeholders. Able to serve as mentor and adopt/deploy relevant technology.
Required Qualifications BS in Petroleum Engineering or other engineering discipline. Experience in hands-on reservoir engineering, modeling and simulation using industry software.
Preferred Qualifications MS in Petroleum Engineering or other engineering discipline.
Selection Criteria 1 Technical Capability: Experience in dynamic reservoir characterization, reserves booking, development planning, production forecasting, development strategy assessment, and working cross-functionally to evaluate project economics.
Broad experience working deepwater assets (specifically gas fields) a plus.
Demonstrated ability to manage and QC existing reservoir simulation models to generate production forecasts using industry software.
Experience with maturing capital projects.
