Program Management Intern

We are looking for a high-agency Program Intern to act as the operational backbone of Scaler Innovation Labs. You will be the central node connecting startup founders, industry experts, student clubs and their project teams. This role requires a mix of creativity, event management, operational rigour, network and the ability to build relationships with high-profile guests and students alike.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Execution: Lead the planning and execution of Tech events, Hackathons, Supermentor sessions(CTO talks), and SIL community gatherings. This involves coordinating with the ops team, managing logistics, arranging media coverage, and overseeing stage management with student volunteers.
• Guest Hospitality: Manage the end-to-end experience for CTOs, tech founders, and industry leaders visiting campus. This includes facilitating their logistics, conducting campus/lab tours, helping brainstorm questions to be asked and ensuring seamless masterclass delivery.
• Announcements and Attendance: distinct responsibility for event communications. Ensure maximum participation through timely announcements and manage registrations and attendance data on event days.
• Stakeholder Bridge: Act as the primary point of coordination between Incubated Experienced Founders, Student Startup teams, Student Club leaders, and student interns to ensure smooth collaboration.
• Meeting Rigour: Own the documentation for weekly startup reviews. You will take detailed meeting notes and strictly follow up on action items to ensure accountability across startup/project teams.
• Documentation and Compliance: Manage the creation and dissemination of critical documents, including Internship Offer Letters for student peers and incubation MoUs for new startup companies entering the lab.
• Social Media and PR: Collaborate with the marketing team to execute the social media calendar. Coordinate with student founders to gather updates on their progress and work with the media team to showcase these wins externally.
• Luminaries Club Management: Handle the logistics for the exclusive "Luminaries Club" monthly dinners with founders, including venue scouting, restaurant booking, and on-ground coordination.
• External Opportunity Scouting: Actively network and source external hackathons and tech events. Your goal is to either host them on our campus or ensure Scaler students participate and represent the brand globally.
• Budget Tracking: Manage and record expenses for the Entrepreneurship Club, Robotics Club, and Scaler Innovation Lab. You will maintain a tracker to ensure all spending stays within the allocated budget.

Requirements

• Undergraduate student or recent graduate with a strong interest in the startup ecosystem.
• Experience of starting up or being part of startup teams before is a bonus.
• Prior experience in organising college fests, hackathons, or managing student clubs is highly preferred.
• Strong organisational skills with proficiency in tools like Excel/Google Sheets and Notion.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to interact with CXOs and students effectively, and also host CXOs if need be on stage.
