You are the engineer who maintains uptime across 50+ SaaS products when others are operating blind. We need DevOps professionals capable of entering unknown AWS environments, restoring order from disorder, and driving availability above 99.9% through genuine monitoring, automation, and root-cause analysis. You will break complex initiatives into daily tasks, deliver production-ready Python or JavaScript, and leverage AI as your assistant.
While most organizations claim "cloud expertise" while manually tending infrastructure, we are systematizing reliability across dozens of acquired products whose original teams have departed and whose documentation is incomplete. The challenge is compelling: you will employ agents and contemporary tooling to explore unfamiliar systems 5–10× faster, document your findings, and automate solutions to prevent recurrence. Rather than judging you on certifications and vendor badges, we will observe you troubleshoot in real time, author a genuine 5-Whys analysis that identifies a single preventable root cause, and construct automations that endure production conditions.
This is not a tier-two "execute the runbook" position. Here, you author the runbooks, architect the deployment sequence from development through staging to 10% then 100% with soak intervals and rollback conditions, and implement the monitoring that surfaces edge cases. You block unsafe modifications before they reach production. You distinguish infrastructure failures under your ownership from application bugs owned by Engineering, and you route permanent remediations to the appropriate team.
You will operate at the engineering heart of reliability, taking ownership of infrastructure initiatives, incident management and root-cause analyses, and change requests accompanied by copy-paste-executable documentation. If you have already owned a significant SaaS product and wish to apply that discipline across a fleet, join us. Bring expert-tier AWS knowledge, production-quality coding ability, uncompromising scope discipline, and daily, mission-critical use of AI tooling. If you are prepared to maintain operational continuity, please apply.
