This is not a standard tutoring assignment. You will facilitate live online workshops that challenge exceptional learners, provide focused contest preparation for competitions such as AMC and AIME, and develop scalable resources that elevate standards across GT Anywhere and GT campus locations. What You Will Be Doing

• Develop and conduct 2–4 live virtual subject workshops weekly that cultivate competition-level analytical skills
• Provide 1:1 or small-group coaching for particular contests through mock examinations, timed exercises, and comprehensive feedback
• Identify weaknesses quickly and develop individualized advancement strategies aligned with each student's objectives and scheduled competitions
• Monitor development using a structured mathematics progression framework and modify teaching methods based on performance data
• Produce original, challenging problem collections and modular instructional materials that other teachers can deploy broadly

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Provide general assignment assistance or grade-focused tutoring lacking defined, quantifiable results
• Conduct conventional classroom-format lessons limited to standard academic requirements
• Offer unorganized problem practice without strategic direction, assessment mechanisms, or competitive pathways
• Rely on borrowed or insufficient materials that fail to satisfy competitive mathematics benchmarks

Elite Math Coach Key Responsibilities This position ensures that gifted students reliably produce measurable, competition-standard mathematics achievements that GT School can showcase and families can depend upon.

Basic Requirements

• Demonstrated elite mathematical accomplishment (e.g., Olympiad medal, AIME qualification, top national ranking, or equivalent documented record)
• Minimum 6 months of instruction, coaching, or mentoring experience with documented results
• Capacity to present advanced mathematics in clear, accessible terms to gifted young students
• Comprehensive knowledge of mathematics competition structures, content areas, and preparation methodology (e.g., AMC, AIME, Olympiads)
• Effective online teaching capability and skill in maintaining student engagement through video platforms
• Availability for 5–10 hours weekly
• Dependable internet connection and professional-quality video equipment

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Current, ongoing participation as a competitor, coach, or creator of competition-oriented instructional content
• Track record developing reusable instructional libraries, problem collections, or curricula for use by other educators
• Evidence of student achievements including qualifications, rankings, medals, or other documented competition results

Working with us This is a part-time (10 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $37,500 USD/year assuming 10 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
