Responsibilities DIVISION DESCRIPTION:

Within Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking, the Global Markets Division brings together the Research, Investment and Risk Management Solutions, Execution and Clearing, Prime Services, Equities, Fixed Income, Futures and Currencies & Commodities structuring capabilities with the objective of providing investors with one integrated multi-asset market solutions team. The business uses an advisory and innovation mindset, focused on client needs, with a global leader in financial markets engineering. Global Markets is a leading player in derivatives, with unrivaled over the counter and listed derivatives expertise, as well as cross-asset and economic research. Our prime services' offering is a unique combination of execution, clearing, custody and financing services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Produce major us indices (s&p, russell, nasdaq, crsp) change predictions and as well other index families.
• Implement and maintain systematic tools of monitoring both scheduled and ad-hoc index events
• Analyze corporate actions and potential impact on index changes
• Conduct fundamental research on companies via official sec filings
• Follow index methodology changes and integrate them into the existing processes
• Optimize portfolio risks using in-house or vendor tools
• Coordinate with other regions to produce worldwide indices (msci, ftse, etc) predictions
• Executing trades and follow up portfolio performance

Required Profile required SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Must Have:

• Deep understanding of all major US Indices methodologies
• Hands-on experiences in producing index change predictions
• Proficient in one of the commonly used programming languages (Python, C#, etc.)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in related field
• No maximum experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Language(s) - English

Nice to Have:

• Experiences in using portfolio optimization models
• Understanding of transaction cost model and execution system

COMPENSATION: Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and includes a competitive benefits package including 401(k) plan with company match, medical/dental/vision, and other benefits for fertility, wellness, student loans and commuters.
