Production Artist (Contract)

Summary
We are seeking a highly creative and digitally fluent content creator to join a dynamic team responsible for engaging millions of players worldwide through compelling social media experiences. This hands-on role requires someone who lives and breathes internet culture, understands what makes content shareable, and can translate brand moments into authentic, platform-native posts that resonate with diverse global audiences. You will be responsible for concepting, producing, and publishing engaging content across major social platforms, working in fast-paced cycles to capture trends, community moments, and cultural conversations as they happen. This is an opportunity to shape how a beloved global franchise shows up in social spaces, creating content that feels genuine, playful, and deeply connected to the passionate community that engages with it daily. Job Responsibilities
- Concept, create, and publish social-first content across TikTok, Instagram, and X with a primary focus on engagement, participation, and shareability
- Own hands-on production of content end-to-end, including ideation, filming, editing, motion graphics, and final delivery
- Translate social strategies, franchise moments, and narratives into creative content that feels native to each platform and relevant to pop culture
- Stay current with trends, formats, audio, memes, and creator behaviors, proactively bringing forward timely and culturally connected ideas
- Create short-form video and visual content that reflects authentic social behaviors, from humor and trends to community moments
- Collaborate closely with Social Media Managers, Creative, Marketing, and Community teams to align content with broader franchise initiatives while maintaining a social-first approach
- Experiment with new tools, workflows, and formats, including AI-enabled creative workflows, to increase speed and creative output
- Monitor content performance and community response, using qualitative signals and platform insights to inform creative iteration and future ideas
- Ensure all content aligns with brand safety, confidentiality, accessibility, and community guidelines standards
Requirements
- 5 to 7+ years of experience creating social-first content for brands, entertainment, games, or creator-led communities
- Proven track record of producing content that generates high engagement including shares, comments, stitches, duets, remixes, and replies
- Experience working with social media managers, community teams, and creative partners
- Background creating content that scales across multiple formats and variations
- Portfolio demonstrating strong short-form video work that feels native to TikTok and Instagram with clear creative intent
- Portfolio must include a range of formats such as trend participation, original concepts, reactive moments, recurring series, and community-forward posts
- Portfolio examples showing end-to-end ownership of content creation
- Demonstrated ability to create content people actively engage with across social platforms
- Deep expertise in creating platform-native content for TikTok, Instagram, and X
- Hands-on video production skills including filming, editing, sound design, captioning, pacing, and versioning
- Strong understanding of what performs on social platforms and ability to identify emerging trends quickly
- Ability to create in a creator style rather than traditional polished marketing approach
- Motion graphics and graphic design capabilities
- Excellent judgment around brand safety and appropriateness for global audiences
- Ability to work in rapid cycles, iterate quickly, and incorporate feedback effectively
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
- Understanding of AI-enabled creative workflows for accelerating production
- Knowledge of gaming culture and community behaviors
Additional Details
- Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite)
- Duration: 6 months
- Pay Range*: $47.50 - $54 per hour
- Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
- Job Status: Non-Exempt
