Summary Position Summary Consultant – Oracle EPM TRCS OR LONGVIEW Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited (“USI Tax”) commenced in June 2004. Since then, nearly all the Deloitte Tax LLP (“Deloitte Tax”) U.S. service lines have obtained support services through the USI Tax teams. Your Responsibilities

• Advising clients on Tax department strategy/policy including Tax assessment from a people, process, technology, and governance point of view
• Process improvements, redesigning client tax departments and evaluating automation opportunities
• Gather and document tax requirements for business and performing system fit and gap analysis
• Designing, Implementing and/or reviewing the Tax Accounting, compliance (direct), workflow, and visualization tools for clients
• Conduct user acceptance testing to compile comprehensive test scenarios and identify flaws as well as improvements to newly built systems and processes

Qualification And Experience Required –

• MBA or Chartered Accountant or Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounts from reputed University with overall experience in Finance, Accounting and/or Taxation
• 6-8 years of experience with Oracle tax provision software Hyperion Tax Provisions (HTP) or Tax Reporting Cloud Services (EPM SOLUTION LIKE TRCS OR LONGVIEW) for automating Global Tax provisions process for clients.
• Understanding of Tax Provision processes and concepts pertaining to Current & Deferred Taxes, ETR, State & Local Taxes, Interim Tax Provisions etc.
• Understanding of Financial consolidation and/or Planning & Budgeting processes and applications (e.g. Oracle FCCS, PBCS, HFM, etc.)
• Preferred knowledge with the following Oracle Finance modules:
• General Ledger
• Accounts Receivable and Payables
• Fixed Assets
• Project Accounting
• Account Reconciliation
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
• Effective communication with strong relationship management skills
• Team player, adhering to the timelines for finishing deliverables
• Strong project management and leadership abilities
• Relentless focus on quality of work products while adhering to completing deliverables on time

Preferred -

• Knowledge of business and tax processes, creating functional specifications, identifying, and developing requirements for new reports, preparing test scripts and providing user training and support
• Direct tax (Income Tax compliance and Tax provision) experience
• Understanding of Financial consolidation and/or Planning & Budgeting processes and applications (e.g. Oracle FCCS, PBCS, HFM, etc.)
