About the role
Korva is building the AI-native operating system for health plan administration. Self-funded health plans cover 100M+ Americans, yet third-party administrators (TPAs) run them on manual processes and legacy software. We're rebuilding that back office with AI agents that automate high-stakes operational workflows. Getting this right matters — millions of Americans' coverage depends on it.
Founded by UC Berkeley alums with deep experience in healthcare data, payer integrations, and provider workflows. Pre-seed, well-funded, NYC-based.
This is a broad founding engineer role: you'll design core platform infrastructure from scratch, build and ship AI agents for TPA operations, own systems end-to-end, and at times embed directly with customers to turn operational knowledge into product. You'll work closely with the founders and shape both the roadmap and the engineering culture.
We're looking for someone with 2–5 years of SWE experience who writes clean, reliable code, has strong product instincts, uses AI as a core part of their workflow, and is comfortable in the ambiguity of an early-stage company. Interest in healthcare or complex regulated industries is a plus—domain expertise not required on day one.
