Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Hardware Developer for Cognitive Systems Circuit Layout, you will design, develop, test, and deliver offerings for Power & Z using the latest technologies. This role involves creating complex VLSI circuit layouts and ensuring design integrity. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Design and Layout Circuits: Create new physical design data from concepts, partial schematics, or overall requirements, and convert symbolic circuit data into physical shapes representing the semiconductor process.
- Check Design Integrity: Verify the design meets semiconductor ground rules and logical circuit function, performing manual checks and utilizing tool manipulations as needed.
- Collaborate with Extended Team: Coordinate with the team to ensure effective methodology creation and implementation.
- Develop Physical Shapes: Use graphic editing tools to create and manipulate physical shapes for VLSI circuit designs.
- Ensure Logical Function: Validate the logical function of the circuit, ensuring it meets requirements and specifications.
