Role Information

As an Agentic Solutions Engineer at Refold, you’ll help build and evolve our AI native integration product by working hands-on with real customer use cases. You’ll design and ship AI workflows, identify patterns across implementations, and partner closely with engineering to turn those patterns into scalable platform capabilities. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy product thinking, system design, and translating messy real-world requirements into durable product features.

• Customers: CTOs, CPOs at $50M+ ARR software companies and Fortune 500 enterprises

Key Responsibilities

• Build AI Workflows: Implement end-to-end integration workflows using Refold’s agentic AI platform, combining orchestration logic, data transformations, and system connectivity.
• Productize AI Patterns: Identify repeatable AI and agent-driven integration patterns and turn them into reusable templates, abstractions, and product features.
• Design Scalable Flows: Design and implement resilient data flows and transformations with built-in handling for scale, failures, and edge cases.
• Ship Product Features: Partner closely with Product Managers and Enginerring to ship new platform capabilities, validate behavior through real workflows, and iterate based on usage.
• Improve Agentic Capabilities: Contribute to the evolution of agentic workflows, including decision-making logic, tool invocation, and autonomous execution within integrations.
• Bridge Product and Real-World Use Cases - Partner with Delivery teams to architect complex integrations, using these engagements to validate platform design, uncover gaps, and inform future product investments.
• Influence Product Direction: Feed implementation-driven insights, constraints, and opportunities back into product design and roadmap decisions.

Required Skills & Abilities

• 1–3 years of experience in solutions engineering, product engineering, integration engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong foundation in APIs, distributed systems, and common integration patterns.
• Hands-on experience using Python or JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js).
• Experience working with structured data formats (JSON, XML) and designing data transformations.
• Ability to debug complex issues across multiple systems and reason about failure modes.
• Product-minded approach to engineering: comfort working with ambiguous requirements and iterating toward scalable solutions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SaaS platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with iPaaS or workflow automation platforms (e.g., Workato, Boomi, Mulesoft, Zapier, Merge).
• Exposure to AI-driven workflows, automation platforms, or ML-powered products.
• Practical understanding of AI/ML concepts and hands-on experience building with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, ChatGPT or open-source models)
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Background in early-stage startups or roles where product and engineering responsibilities were tightly coupled.
