You're the engineer who stabilizes 50+ SaaS products when no one else has the map. We need DevOps engineers who can explore unfamiliar AWS environments, restore order from chaos, and drive uptime beyond 99.9% using real monitoring, real automation, and real root cause analyses. You'll break down complex projects into one-day increments, deliver production-ready Python or JavaScript, and leverage AI as your junior partner.
Most organizations boast about "cloud" while hand-nursing individual systems. We're industrializing reliability across a portfolio of acquired products where original engineers are gone and documentation is incomplete. The opportunity: you'll harness agents and modern tools to learn new systems 5–10x faster, document what you discover, and automate it so the same outage never recurs. Rather than judging you on certifications and vendor badges, we'll observe you troubleshoot in real time, author a genuine 5-Whys that identifies one preventable root cause, and construct automations that withstand production pressure.
This is not an L2 "execute the runbook" position. In this capacity, you author the runbooks, architect the deployment path from dev to staged to 10% to 100% with soak periods and rollback triggers, and construct the monitors that detect edge cases. You reject unsafe changes before anyone executes them. You distinguish infrastructure failures you own from application bugs Engineering owns, and you route permanent remediation to the appropriate team.
You'll operate at the engineering heart of reliability, owning infrastructure initiatives, incident response with RCAs, and change requests accompanied by copy-paste-executable runbooks. If you've already owned a substantial SaaS product and want to extend that discipline across a fleet, join us. Bring expert-level AWS knowledge, production-grade development skills, ruthless scope discipline, and daily, mission-critical use of AI tools. If you're prepared to keep the lights on, please apply.
