- Product Model (APD): Build and maintain advanced product hierarchies, coverages, terms, modifiers, and templates using Advanced Product Designer (APD).
- Rating Engine: Implement complex rating logic, rate tables, routines, and actuarial-driven pricing logic within the PolicyCenter Rating Engine.
- Technical Leadership: Lead and perform peer code reviews to ensure adherence to Best Practices, Cloud Assurance, and security standards.
- Technical Documentation: Produce and maintain high-quality technical design documents, configuration maps, and cloud runbooks.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior and mid-level developers on Gosu best practices, APD, and cloud-native integration patterns.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives) and collaborate with QA to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Experience: 6–10+ years of hands-on experience in Guidewire Configuration/Integration, with at least 3-5+ years specifically in PolicyCenter.
- Guidewire Cloud: Proven experience implementing Guidewire PolicyCenter on the Guidewire Cloud Platform (SaaS).
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Gosu programming and Guidewire Studio.
- Integration Technologies: Strong hands-on experience with REST APIs, Integration Gateway, messaging frameworks, and batch processes.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of P&C Insurance products, commercial/specialty lines, and policy lifecycles.
- Tooling: Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), Git, and Jira.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
