About The Role The Solution Consultant (SC) is a subject matter expert focused primarily on supporting pre-sales. Leveraging deep expertise in our Chemistry solutions and strong commercial acumen, you will work closely with Sales to uncover customer needs, design tailored solutions and demonstrate value. In post-sales scenarios, you will partner with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) when specialist knowledge is required to address complex solution queries or deliver in depth training.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to expert for Sales teams, collaborating to uncover customer challenges and craft solution strategies that drive business impact
• Deliver tailored demonstrations and workshops that translate product capabilities into business outcomes
• Effectively prioritize and manage multiple customer and internal requests to deliver timely solutions and support.
• Act as a trusted advisor offering subject matter expertise to shape deals and solution approaches
• Address escalated cases from CSMs requiring specialized Chemistry knowledge, while supporting them by leveraging in-depth product expertise to drive adoption, optimize usage and resolve complex customer issues
• Collaborate with internal teams to share customer insights, best practices and provide guidance on customer needs and industry best practices
• Coach and provide feedback to Sales and CSMs to help them build product knowledge and enable more independent resolution of customer queries
• Monitor and report on engagement activities and demo outcomes, while creating materials and processes to improve the pre- and post-sales experience

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in chemistry, biotechnology or a relevant discipline is required
• A proven track record of at least five years in customer-facing positions such as customer success, consulting or account management, preferably within B2B or SaaS settings
• Exceptional communication, presentation and stakeholder management across all organizational levels
• Demonstrates an analytical and consultative approach, with the capacity to swiftly understand complex requirements and provide actionable recommendations
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Outstanding interpersonal and influencing capabilities
• Proficiency in additional languages pertinent to key APAC markets is highly desirable
