About the Role:
As the Deputy Director for Affiliate Business, you will be the primary custodian of one of Myntra’s most significant growth levers. You will own the end-to-end P&L for the affiliate charter, leading a high-performing team to drive influencer affiliate GMV. This is a role that requires a blend of strategic long-term thinking, rigorous data-backed decision-making, and mastery in relationship management with the country’s largest affiliate networks and content partners.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership & P&L Ownership
- Annual & Monthly Planning: Define the roadmap for the affiliate channel, forecasting monthly GMV, New User Acquisition (NUA), and RoAS targets.
- Long-term Strategy: Move beyond tactical execution to build a sustainable ecosystem (Content Commerce, Social Commerce, and Influencer-led Affiliates) that keeps Myntra ahead of the competition.
- Budget Management: Manage multi-crore monthly budgets, ensuring optimal allocation across cashback, coupons, and content-led platforms.
2. Partner Ecosystem Management
- Key Account Management: Lead the business relationships with top-tier affiliate partners (e.g., CashKaro, EarnKaro, Grivy) and large-scale media houses.
- Negotiation & Structuring: Lead complex negotiations for commercial terms, exclusive event access, and commission structures to maximize Myntra's share of voice (SOV).
- Network Expansion: Identify and onboard emerging affiliate models, including UPI platforms, Banking ecosystems, and SaaS-based loyalty programs.
3. Growth & Execution
- Scaling Campaigns: Lead the affiliate strategy for Myntra’s flagship events (EORS, Big Fashion Festival), ensuring 100% execution excellence and peak traffic management.
- Full-Funnel Optimization: Work with the product and tech teams to improve the affiliate tracking tech stack, attribution models, and the "Affiliate-to-App" conversion journey.
- Fraud Mitigation: Oversee rigorous quality checks to minimize order cancellations and ensure the integrity of the affiliate traffic.
4. Team Leadership
- Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of Managers and Senior Managers, fostering a culture of high performance and ownership.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as the central anchor between Category, Revenue, Business Finance, and Tech teams to ensure the affiliate charter aligns with overall platform goals.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8+ years in Growth Marketing / Performance Marketing, with at least 3-4 years specifically leading Affiliate or Partnership businesses for a large-scale B2C brand or E-commerce entity.
- Negotiation Mastery: A track record of managing and negotiating with high-stakes external partners and networks.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to think "three steps ahead"—anticipating shifts in the digital ecosystem (e.g., cookies-less future, shift to video commerce) and adapting the charter accordingly.
- Education: MBA from a Tier-1 institute is preferred.
