Role overview
We’re hiring an
Editorial Analys
t who can think like an editor and analyze like a strategist
- If you love breaking down stories, decoding audience behavior, and turning data into sharp editorial insights - this role is built for you
- You’ll work closely with Senior Editors and Editorial Leads to support high-volume storytelling pipelines for the
US marke
t, from early evaluation stages to long-form PPV performance, this is where creativity meets analytics
What you’ll do
Story & editorial analysis
- Analyze serialized stories for structure, pacing, character arcs, and genre/trope alignment
- Evaluate US audience-marketfit.
- Provide editorial support: revisions, line editing, copy editing, and proofreading at sale assess story readiness for long-form audio adaptation
Data, audience & market insights
- Analyze retention curves, episodic performance, and cohort behavior
- Translate data patterns into actionable editorial recommendations
- Conduct user comment analysis, surveys, and qualitative research
- Support A/B testing and temporal experiments to measure creative impact
- Assist in market research to identify content opportunities
Tracking & editorial operations
- Maintain clean editorial trackers and documentation
- Prepare Story Kickoff materials
- Ensure smooth milestone handoffs (H20 / H30 / H40)
- Bring structure and process clarity to high-volume pipelines
Program support (Top author & contests)
- Support pre-contract evaluations, hygiene checks, and risk documentation
- Manage contest triage and story shortlisting using structured frameworks
- Run look-back analyses to revive strong stories that stall
Audio production editorial support
- Prepare scripts for Voice-Over Adaptation
- (VOA) Strengthen dialogue, cliffhangers, pacing, and emotional beats while preserving the author’s voiceConduct QC on recorded episodes and provide structured feedback before final sign-off
What we’re looking for
- 3–4+ years in editorial analysis, publishing, content analytics, OTT, audio, or serialized storytelling
- Comfortable working with dashboards, retention metrics, and qualitative insights
- Experience with story evaluation, revision, and editing at scale
- Ability to clearly document risks, insights, and recommendations
- High attention to detail and strong process discipline
- Comfortable in fast-moving, high-volume environments
