Campus Operations Manager, Alpha - $75,000/year USD

This requires campus operations that are rigorous, agile, and designed to scale. This role is responsible for all non-instructional functions that enable students and Guides to excel.

As the operational backbone of the campus, you handle parent and staff communications, supervise safety and security protocols, maintain smooth facilities and logistics operations, and ensure reliable technology access for students and staff. You intervene when things go wrong, foresee problems before they grow, and introduce orderly systems into fast-moving environments.

What You Will Be Doing

• Serving as a key contact point for parents, students, and staff to deliver timely, clear, and professional communication
• Overseeing campus safety functions including access protocols, health response, emergency drills, record-keeping, and family notifications
• Coordinating daily campus logistics including attendance systems, transportation arrangements, facility upkeep, and office functions
• Assisting with the onboarding and training of incoming staff to guarantee operational preparedness from the outset
• Administering student devices and campus technology, acting as the on-site Google Administrator and technology point person

• Mentoring Guides or influencing curriculum design
• Functioning in a strictly clerical or narrowly defined capacity
• Working within a slow-paced or entirely predictable setting
• Transferring unfinished issues to others rather than taking ownership of results

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (field of study not specified)
• At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or similar operational roles
• Comfort with basic technology tasks including device setup, troubleshooting, and account administration
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across parents, staff, and vendors
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Must be available to work in person in Lake Forest; CA; Piedmont, CA; Palo Alto, CA, Chicago; IL or Fort Worth; TX

Working with us This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $37 USD/hour, which equates to $75,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
