General Summary Qualcomm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineer for role as a software Windows system focused on Windows on Snapdragon products. This role is crucial in driving the full life cycle of feature definition, development, commercialization, and deployment within the Windows OS ecosystem. This role requires a deep understanding of Windows operating systems, security, enterprise solutions and PC Ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Windows OS, APIs, kernel, drivers, and the surrounding ecosystem, coupled with strong leadership qualities and the ability to execute product-oriented strategies in a fast-paced environment. As a senior member of the team working on software systems and features, you will have opportunity to analyze requirements and develop high level designs for new features, potentially including constraints of live update to infield devices. You will also drive technical initiatives to evolve Windows on Snapdragon software. You will work closely with development leads, software and hardware architects, project engineers, product managers, customer engineers, OEMs and external partners.
Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

Pay Range And Other Compensation & Benefits $162,600.00 - $271,000.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
