You will be responsible for a student cohort and measured against three commitments: students are engaged and enthusiastic, they progress at double the rate of conventional classrooms, and they develop competencies that matter beyond academics. Guide coaching begins on day one. As you demonstrate measurable impact, your authority over campus-wide standards and quality expands.

What You Will Be Doing

Facilitating structured one-hour life skills workshops (communication, focus, feedback dynamics) for students in grades K-8, using Alpha's established playbook
Conducting motivational interventions powered by Coachbot analytics and Alpha's incentive architecture (campus currency, performance leaderboards) to ensure 100% goal attainment
Developing Guides through targeted coaching on fidelity to program standards and accountability enforcement, with each interaction yielding clear next steps
Managing your own cohort of students while simultaneously building capacity in other Guides
Monitoring and reporting on student engagement scores, goal completion metrics, and Guide effectiveness indicators

What You Won’t Be Doing

Providing direct academic instruction or subject tutoring. App-based learning handles content delivery.
Creating new curriculum or instructional plans. Alpha's playbook is the operating framework, allowing you to concentrate on delivery and student connection.
Accepting 99% as sufficient when the target is 100%. Maintaining rigorous expectations demonstrates your confidence in student capability.
Training Guides on pedagogical methods. Since Guides do not teach content, your coaching centers on presence, motivation, and standards maintenance.

Basic Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in education, learning and development (L&D), coaching, or a related field
Experience developing and implementing educational programs, training initiatives, or curricula
Experience building and managing teams, including hiring and making performance-based termination decisions
Experience working with youth ages 5-14 in an educational or developmental setting
Experience using data analysis and metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement
Willing to work in-person at an Alpha campus in Atlanta, GA or Keller (Fort Worth), TX
Legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice-to-have Requirements

Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field
Background in athletics coaching, camp counseling, or youth performance programs where results were measured and standards enforced
Experience motivating large groups of students

Working with us This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
