Job Description
The SAP Ariba is responsible for end to end ownership of Ariba Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing and Procurement initiatives, providing functional and delivery across sourcing, contracting, buying, and invoicing processes. This role operates at a lead level, independent problem solving, with accountability for successful execution in fast paced, global environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. End to End Project & Delivery Ownership
Own end to end delivery of SAP Ariba B&I, Sourcing and Procurement workstreams, covering scope, timelines, dependencies, and execution.
Drive project deliverables across fast paced and parallel initiatives, ensuring outcomes meet business and program objectives.
Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies, resolving challenges with minimal escalation.
Serve as the primary point of accountability for delivery success within the Ariba B&I domain.
2. Functional Leadership – SAP Ariba
Provide lead level functional expertise in SAP Ariba, with strong understanding of:
Sourcing and procurement, contracting integration
Upstream and downstream process interactions
Understand how tools, integrations, and business processes interact across the source to pay landscape.
Guide solution design decisions to ensure scalable, compliant, and business aligned outcomes.
Support and advise stakeholders on best practices and process optimization within Ariba B&I.
3. Stakeholder & Global Collaboration
Communicate clearly and effectively with business, technical, and program stakeholders.
Provide regular status updates, risk outlooks, and progress reporting.
Demonstrate flexibility to align with PST time zone, while supporting collaboration across global time zones.
Generic Managerial Skills, If any
Lead and manage end to end SAP Ariba B&I delivery, with accountability for scope, timelines, quality, and business outcomes across sourcing, buying, and invoicing workstreams.
Provide functional and delivery leadership for SAP Ariba implementations, ensuring seamless interaction across tools, integrations, and source to pay processes.
Drive planning, task allocation, execution tracking, and risk mitigation for fast paced, multi stream Ariba projects with minimal escalation.
Act as the primary stakeholder interface, translating business requirements into scalable and compliant Ariba B&I solutions and ensuring alignment across global teams.
Establish and enforce delivery governance, execution standards, and best practices for Ariba B&I configuration and deployment.
Mentor and guide team members, promoting strong ownership, independent problem solving, and consistent delivery quality.
Oversee status reporting, dependency management, and executive communication, providing clear visibility into progress, risks, and decisions.
Manage delivery across global time zones, ensuring alignment with PST based stakeholders while supporting extended coverage as required.

Salary Range: $94,000-$132,000 a year
