Title: Revenue Accountant

Location: Houston, Texas

Duration: 3 to 6 months

Compensation: $50 per hour

Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Skillset / Experience: We are seeking a Senior Oil & Gas Revenue Accountant with strong SAP PRA experience and advanced Microsoft Excel skills for a contract opportunity in Downtown Houston. This role will be responsible for handling both operated and non-operated properties and supporting the full revenue accounting cycle.

Responsibilities:

Perform revenue accounting for both operated and non-operated assets
Process and review revenue in SAP PRA
Handle revenue distribution, allocations, and settlements
Prepare and review monthly revenue journal entries and account reconciliations
Analyze revenue variances and resolve discrepancies
Work closely with production, marketing, and joint interest teams
Assist with month-end close and reporting
Support audits and provide documentation as needed
Utilize advanced Excel for data analysis, reconciliations, and reporting

Requirements:

5+ years of oil & gas revenue accounting experience
SAP PRA experience required
Experience with both operated and non-operated properties
Advanced Excel skills
Strong understanding of oil & gas revenue processes
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
