Role Overview
JLL's Capital Markets Pursuits team is a high-performing group of business development marketing strategists dedicated to driving revenue growth through compelling written and visual narratives for JLL's Capital Markets (CM) business. This role supports design quality and consistency across Capital Markets in EMEA, with a specific focus on CMG‑JBS design outputs. As Design Lead, you will provide experienced design input, share best practices, and support continuous improvement across regional design activity. Working closely with the Design Operations Lead, the CMG‑JBS Design Lead, and regional stakeholders, you will offer creative guidance and feedback to help ensure design outputs remain pitch‑ready and aligned with JLL brand expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership (35%)
- Serve as stakeholder and advisor to the CMG-JBS design team, maintaining high-level oversight of all projects to ensure standards are maintained and efficiency levels continuously improved.
- Support CMG leadership and Design Operations by sharing best practices, examples, and lessons learned from across the region.
- Work collaboratively with Capital Markets teams, in‑country designers, and the CMG delivery function to support effective ways of working.
- Contribute to a connected and supportive EMEA design community through knowledge sharing and informal collaboration.
Design Quality & Standards – CMG-JBS Focus (30%)
- Review selected CMG‑JBS design outputs to support consistent quality and alignment with JLL brand guidelines.
- Provide clear, practical feedback and examples of good practice to help elevate the quality and efficiency of CMG‑JBS design delivery.
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and use of shared design templates and resources used by the CMG‑JBS design team.
- Support the consistent application of agreed design standards across CMG‑JBS Capital Markets outputs.
Feedback, Insights & Continuous Improvement (20%)
- Use available data and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities to improve design quality, efficiency, and collaboration.
- Share insights on design demand and capability to inform discussions with Design Operations and CMG leadership.
- Highlight opportunities to better utilise internal CMG‑JBS design capability and reduce reliance on external suppliers where appropriate.
- Participate in project wash‑ups and feedback sessions to help improve design ways of working.
Regional Engagement (15%)
- Build effective working relationships with designers and stakeholders across EMEA.
- Support confidence in Capital Markets design services by listening to feedback and helping address recurring issues.
- Provide input, when requested, into recruitment discussions to help ensure future hires align with regional design needs.
Key Success Factors

Qualifications & Skills
- 6–8+ years’ experience in graphic design within Capital Markets, commercial real estate, or a similar professional services environment.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Brings strong hands‑on design experience and the ability to step into complex or high‑profile design work when appropriate.
- Solid understanding of brand guidelines, design systems, and quality standards.
- Confident communicator, able to provide constructive feedback and work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Interest in innovation, including the use of AI and automation to support efficient design delivery.
Preferred:
- Experience working across multiple EMEA countries or regions.
- Familiarity with workflow management, and capacity planning.
- Background in developing design templates, training materials, and knowledge-sharing resources.
