Software Engineering Manager Position Overview Are you looking for an opportunity to engineer modern Cloud application, Continuous Deployment/Continuous Integration, and infrastructure solutions across a breadth of core platforms and technologies and foster a community while being supported with plentiful training and mentorship opportunities? We’re looking for a Software Engineering Associate Advisor who will be responsible for enriching Cloud Practice within Core Tech Eng & Solutions (CTES) to accelerate us on Cloud journey for claim platforms by reengineering current state legacy systems. The journey requires building foundational capabilities/patterns and enabling teams from design, technical architecture and selecting cloud services wisely. This role required proved technology leadership with strong hands-on digital experience.

Responsibilities Promote a Cloud Engineering culture within core platforms.Enable and support Cloud Engineering teams and practices.Develop engineering talent in Cloud and DevSecOps practices.Build modern Cloud capabilities and empower teams to use them.Create and track a CTES Cloud roadmap.Assess current state and bottlenecks of core claim adjudication platforms.Lead architecture and design for claim modernization.Manage data, migration planning, and operations for the claim platform.Oversee claim platform performance, volume, and scalability.Provide innovative solutions to simplify system architecture to modern cloud solutions. Qualifications Required Skills Strong communication, influencing, and relationship management skills.Familiarity with agile methodology and SCRUM leadership. Strong ETL Expertise : Design, implement, and optimize ETL pipelines for diverse data sources. Database Proficiency : Hands-on experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL. Cloud & DevSecOps : Solid AWS implementation skills and familiarity with DevSecOps practices. Data Quality & Integrity : Ensure robust testing, validation, and transformation standards. Agile & Collaboration : Experience in Agile/SCRUM environments; effective cross-functional teamwork. Leadership & Mentorship : Empathetic technical leadership with a focus on talent development. Product & Project Management : Ability to manage data engineering initiatives end-to-end.Experience with continuous integration, behavior/test-driven development.Strong AWS implementation experience. Positive, growth-oriented mindset.Hands-on, collaborative engineering lead mindset.Technical acumen in cloud/on-prem DevSecOps software development.Passion for building modular, configurable Cloud solutions.Collaborative approach to solution integrity and best practices.

Required Experience & Education Proven experience with architecture, design, and development of large-scale enterprise application solutions.11 – 13+ years of relevant ETL development.Hands-on experience with building data integration solutions.Experience in any MDM solution like Informatica, Infosphere.Experience with Relational Database Development – Oracle or SQL Server required.Strong understanding of database concepts and experience with query optimization and performance tuning.Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Python, Databricks.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.

Desired Experience: Programming Skills : Proficient in Node.js and Angular (for data-driven applications).Healthcare experience including Disease Management.
