This role contributes to accounting operational excellence by applying Lean principles, automation, and AI tools to streamline accounting processes. Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Execute general accounting and policy application across key accounting areas involving multiple Balance Sheet & Income Statement Areas.
- Interpret and apply GEHC GAPs, SOPs, and Process Maps to ensure globally competitive financial processes.
- Assist in preparing and recording journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation for audits and compliance.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare internal financial reports, variance analyses, and ad hoc updates to support deep dives & business decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and accuracy in financial data.
- Drive process improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies to eliminate inefficiencies.
- Leverage automation tools and AI technologies to enhance data accuracy, reduce manual effort, and accelerate reporting.
- Provide guidance & supervision to Contractors (team members) and communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
- Apply professional judgment and technical expertise, under supervision, to solve problems using insights from multiple internal sources.
- Operate with a certain level of autonomy in executing standard practices while contributing to broader team and business goals.
Required Qualifications
- This role requires significant experience in Finance & Accounting. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelors’ degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- CPA / ACCA / CA / CMA preferred
- 5–7 years in accounting or commercial finance

- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems – applies analytical thinking and judgment to troubleshoot accounting issues and improve processes.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute projects – supports initiatives such as automation, Lean projects, and compliance enhancements with structured planning and communication.
- Established project management skills – manages multiple priorities and contributes to cross-functional projects with accountability and efficiency.
- Preferred working in USCAN time Zone.
