Key Deliverables
- As a Senior Manager you will be responsible for managing the data platform that supports data integrations: enriching data pipelines to share enterprise data, designing, building, and maintaining a data platform such as Enterprise Data Warehouse, Operational Data Store or Data Marts, Data Lakes, Cloud Data Platforms, etc. with appropriate data access, data security, data privacy and data governance.
- Demonstrate technical knowledge and leadership in software development, data engineering frameworks and best practices.
- Strong management skills with the demonstrated ability to multitask and manage multiple small and large projects in a cross-functional environment.
- Use agile engineering practices and various data development technologies to rapidly develop and implement efficient data solutions.
- Motivate, Manage, and drive the team towards meeting business objectives.
- Strong stakeholder management and working with global technology and product teams across different time zones (primarily US) to deliver timely business value
- Drive automation, identify inefficiencies, optimize processes and data flows, and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with the Data Architects, Solution Architects, and other IT partners to enhance the Data platform design, constantly identify a backlog of tech debts in line with identified upgrades and provide technical solutions & implement the same.
- Use operational skills to drive efficiency and speed, have expertise in building repeatable data engineering processes, use strong agile and project management skills to deliver data products.
- Manage deliverables of developers, perform design reviews and coordinate release management activities.

- Overall experience of 15+ years in Data Engineering and Analytics
- Data Warehousing: Technical expertise working in large scale Data Warehousing applications and databases such as Oracle, Netezza, Teradata, and SQL Server. Deep technical knowledge in data engineering frameworks and best practices.
- Experience of working in leading public cloud (AWS) and cloud data warehouse (Snowflake)
- Data integration skills:
- Experience in industry leading ETL tools such as SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS), Informatica Cloud Data Integration Services (IICS), IBM Data Stage and Python
- Transform / ETL tools such as DBT, Qlik Replicate, and similar AWS services
- Data Model: Strong knowledge of Logical and Physical Data Model using Relational, Dimensional, or Data Vault Modeling practices.
- Performance tuning of data pipelines and DB Objects to deliver optimal performance.
- Excellent data analysis skills using SQL
- Experience in setting up Data Quality and Data Controls in a regulated environment
- Experience working in Financial Industry is preferred
