Business Analysts play a key role in digital delivery teams by examining business challenges, identifying user needs, and converting those needs into well defined, testable requirements. Working as part of a multidisciplinary Agile team, they help ensure that digital services deliver meaningful outcomes for users and the organisation.
Experience working for public sector organisations, specifically across pensions is desirable for this position.
Key Responsibilities
Investigate business problems and identify opportunities to enhance digital services.
Gather, document, and manage user and business requirements.
Collaborate with users, stakeholders, and delivery teams to understand needs, constraints, and priorities.
Create clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and success measures.
Use evidence and analysis to support prioritisation and shape Minimum Viable Product (MVP) decisions.
Map existing processes and highlight areas for improvement or optimisation.
Ensure requirements align with organisational objectives and intended service outcomes.
Support testing activities to confirm that solutions meet defined requirements.
Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, Testers, and Delivery Managers.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Proven experience in business analysis within digital or technologyfocused environments.
Strong skills in requirements elicitation, documentation, and management.
Experience operating within Agile, multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to translate user needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
Competence in process mapping and analytical problemsolving.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Understanding of digital service delivery and usercentred design principles.
Desirable Skills and Experience
Experience working on digital public services or largescale digital platforms.
Awareness of accessibility requirements and digital service standards.
Ability to work productively in a hybrid (remote and onsite) environment.
