You will be accountable for a student cohort and measured on three commitments: students are engaged and enthusiastic about school, they progress at double the speed of conventional classrooms, and they develop practical competencies. Coaching other Guides begins immediately. As you produce measurable impact, your authority over program quality campus-wide expands.

What You Will Be Doing

• Facilitating structured one-hour live sessions on core life competencies (public speaking, concentration, feedback exchange) for students in grades K-8, adhering to Alpha's established framework
• Conducting motivational interventions leveraging Coachbot data and Alpha's reward mechanisms (campus currency, performance leaderboards) to achieve 100% goal attainment across your cohort
• Mentoring Guides on program adherence and standard enforcement, ensuring each coaching interaction results in specific action steps
• Managing your designated student group while simultaneously developing Guide capability
• Monitoring student engagement scores, objective completion rates, and Guide effectiveness data

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Providing direct academic instruction or tutoring. Students access academic content via applications.
• Creating curriculum materials or educational plans. Alpha's methodology serves as your framework, allowing you to concentrate on delivery and relationship-building.
• Accepting 99% performance when 100% is achievable. Maintaining standards demonstrates your confidence in student capability.
• Training Guides on instructional methods. Since Guides do not deliver academic content, your coaching focuses on enthusiasm, motivation, and accountability practices.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development (L&D), coaching, or comparable field
• Demonstrated experience designing and executing educational programs, training systems, or curriculum frameworks
• Proven track record building and leading teams, including responsibility for recruitment and performance-based termination decisions
• Direct experience working with children ages 5-14 in educational or developmental environments
• Documented use of data analytics and performance metrics to inform decisions and drive ongoing improvement
• Availability to work on-site at an Alpha campus location in Atlanta, GA or Keller (Fort Worth), TX
• Current legal authorization to work in the United States

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related discipline
• Professional experience in athletic coaching, residential camp leadership, or youth development programs with documented outcomes and enforced performance standards
• Track record motivating and influencing large student groups

Working with us This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
