This model allows you to focus on what genuinely transforms outcomes: facilitating high-impact sessions on public speaking, concentration, and constructive feedback. You'll leverage real-time data to drive every student toward goal attainment and provide coaching to the Guides working with you. Your toolkit consists of analytics, a tested operational framework, and the executive presence that commands attention from middle schoolers.

You will assume ownership of a student cohort with accountability for three core outcomes: students demonstrate enthusiasm for school, they progress at double the rate of conventional classrooms, and they develop practical life competencies. Coaching other Guides begins immediately. As you consistently produce measurable outcomes, your authority over campus-wide program excellence expands.

What You Will Be Doing

• Facilitating one-hour interactive sessions on life competencies (public speaking, focus, giving and receiving feedback) for students in grades K-8, utilizing Alpha's established framework
• Conducting motivation sessions leveraging Coachbot analytics and Alpha's incentive architecture (campus currency, leaderboards) to achieve 100% student goal fulfillment
• Providing coaching to Guides on program adherence and standards maintenance, ensuring each interaction generates concrete performance improvements
• Managing your assigned student cohort while simultaneously developing the capabilities of other Guides
• Monitoring student satisfaction metrics, goal achievement rates, and Guide effectiveness indicators

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Delivering academic instruction or tutoring in subject matter content. Academic learning occurs through applications.
• Creating curriculum or instructional plans. Alpha's operational playbook serves as your framework, allowing you to concentrate on implementation and relationship building.
• Accepting 99% achievement when 100% is the standard. Maintaining this expectation demonstrates your confidence in student capability.
• Training Guides on instructional methodology. Since Guides don't deliver traditional instruction, your coaching addresses energy management, student motivation, and accountability systems.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in education, learning and development (L&D), coaching, or a related field
• Experience developing and implementing educational programs, training initiatives, or curricula
• Experience building and managing teams, including hiring and making performance-based termination decisions
• Experience working with youth ages 5-14 in an educational or developmental setting
• Experience using data analysis and metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement
• Willing to work in-person at an Alpha campus in Atlanta, GA or Keller (Fort Worth), TX
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field
• Background in athletics coaching, camp counseling, or youth performance programs where results were measured and standards enforced
• Experience motivating large groups of students

Working with us This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
