Strategic Pricing Manager
You are responsible for developing adaptable business models and pricing strategies that drive profitability, competitiveness, and market alignment. This role leads pricing strategy development—including First‑of‑a‑Kind deals—by leveraging market insights, data analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration. The position plays a key role in optimizing pricing processes, enhancing pre‑calculation models, and delivering customer‑centric pricing solutions, with a strong focus on MR Service pricing and XBU Champion Business responsibilities.
Your Role
- Develops and defines business models and pricing for reconfigurable solutions, crafts strategies tailored to assignments and specific service models, and ensures that the solutions are maximally adaptable and financially optimized.
- Identifies improvements and best practices by analyzing current processes to pinpoint areas for enhancement, implementing innovative solutions, and continuously refining methods to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Contributes to the co-creation and negotiation phase by adjusting the business model, assesses risks by incorporating actions in the business case, and ensures production of content deliverables and customer-facing materials for the offer.
- Develops new commercial and customer-driven requirements for the business case to enhance pre-calculation model and its customer-facing representation, evolving existing functionalities to meet market demands and improve user experience.
- Leads the development of pricing strategies for First-of-a-Kind deals by analyzing market trends, assessing competitive pricing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to craft innovative and competitive pricing models.
- Designs and optimizes pricing processes, structures pricing strategies to enhance profitability and market competitiveness, incorporates data analysis and market trends to create a dynamic and efficient pricing framework.
- Crafts pricing proposals and quotes by analyzing customer requirements, evaluating cost structures, and applying pricing strategies to ensure competitive and profitable offers.
- Conducts pricing audits to identify and resolve discrepancies, support the implementation of pricing changes and updates, and ensures pricing strategies are aligned with solution features, optimizing pricing accuracy and market alignment.
- Analyzes sales data to pinpoint pricing opportunities and gaps and maintains comprehensive pricing documentation and guidelines to ensure consistent, effective, and strategic pricing practices.
You Are Fit If
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree with minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Pricing Operations, Sales Operations, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), or a comparable commercial/financial role
- Hands‑on experience in pricing strategy, business case development, or commercial operations, ideally in a services or solutions‑based environment.
- Strong ability to analyze data, market trends, and cost structures to support profitable and competitive pricing decisions
- Experience supporting contract drafting, contractual terms interpretation, and contract management
- Proficiency in documentation, reporting, recordkeeping, and maintaining pricing governance and audit readiness
- Capability to monitor KPIs, prepare insights, and support decision‑making through structured reporting
- Experience identifying and implementing risk mitigation strategies within business cases and commercial proposals
- Demonstrated sales acumen with exposure to sales forecasting, deal support, or customer‑facing commercial activities
- Ability to translate strategy into execution through pricing process optimization, continuous improvement, and stakeholder collaboration
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cross‑functional teams (Sales, Finance, Product, Services)
- LEAN Basic certification (preferred) or a demonstrated mindset for process improvement and operational excellence

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
