We are seeking Technical Team Leads to own quality and delivery for our application-layer products. In this role, you will guide a compact team of 3-5 engineers as they develop educational applications serving thousands of students.
You May Contribute To Products Such As
This position combines hands-on technical work with team enablement: approximately 50% of your time will be spent building sophisticated features, while the other 50% focuses on mentoring and empowering your engineers. You will define quality expectations, create technical patterns, conduct code reviews with an instructional approach, and support engineer development. You are responsible for collective team results, not solely your individual contributions.
Small teams, substantial ownership, minimal overhead. Your focus is technical leadership; people management is handled separately.

Working with us This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
