
Job Description Summary We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test to drive the high-quality component delivery of the Ethos Design System (EDS).
The QA Engineer for EDS is the guardian of trust in the modern web platform. You are not just testing features; you are ensuring every “Lego block” is flawless and resilient. Your expertise in automation and validation guarantees Lit (Web Components) remain reliable across React, Angular, Typescript and Vue. Every test you design must be precise, accessible performant and it should work across components when integrated together.
About EDS EDS is the unified digital platform that powers GE HealthCare’s global software portfolio. It serves as a comprehensive library of reusable UI components, design patterns, and accessibility standards that bridge the critical gap between User Experience (UX) and Engineering. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities
Education Qualification Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with a minimum of 3+ years in Software Quality Assurance with over 1+ years specializing in automation engineering

This role requires working with leadership in the United States (Central Time). You must be willing to work flexible hours to ensure significant overlap with US leadership and stakeholders for strategic planning and reviews.
