
Job responsibilities of the Corporate Development Senior Analyst:
Participate in merger and acquisition (M&A) and venture investment pipeline development
Evaluate and summarize M&A prospect information discovered through marketing materials, public filings, meetings & calls, and various other sources
Develop and review financial models to evaluate a target's financial projections and perform comprehensive financial valuations involving discounted cash flow, accretion dilution, and comparable company/transaction analysis
Compile summary materials for internal management and Investment Committee approval
Perform industry and financial analysis leading to investment recommendations
Develop a negotiation strategy and support relevant negotiation efforts
Present to Senior Leadership
Assist in organizing workshops across the deal lifecycle ensuring relevant objectives are achieved
Actively lead and manage various internal and external stakeholders
Participate in the development of Intellectual Property, including AI Agents, lessons learned, best practices, briefing decks, and templates
Program Management including:
Due Diligence efforts amongst internal and external parties
Meeting Coordination: development of agenda, minutes, and follow-up on actions
Workplan management across all Workstreams (e.g., Go-to-Market, HR, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Tax, Workplace)
Milestone tracking (delayed, at risk, on track)
Document PMI progress, prepare Status Reports for PMI Status Meetings with Workstream leads and PMI Leadership Meetings with Sponsoring Accenture Organization and acquired Company
This role requires flexible work hours as it is supporting North American Deals with the potential to work on global deals. The Senior Analyst position requires moderate levels of travel.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of one year of financial, investment, or venture experience
Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to M&A and Venture activity
Strong program management skills
Proficiency with AI tools and creation of AI Agents
Evidence of excellence in previous internship/analyst positions
Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills
A good understanding of cross-functional corporate operations (e.g., Business Operations, Finance, HR)
Ability to work on complex projects in a multicultural environment
Excellent analytical, writing, and verbal skills
Ability to establish strong relationships and trust with executives
Independent problem-solving skills
Demonstrated leadership in a professional setting
Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
