Apprentice - Quality Assurance

NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) is our structured Apprenticeship Program aimed at providing hands-on learning opportunities only for fresh graduates / post graduates (Eligible Batch FY'21-FY'25) helping them build industry-ready skills & kick start their career with us.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Accomplish Quality process cycle of a factory by controlling samples; follow up materials production in-house status, control materials in-house testing, conducting PP Meetings, cutting permission, inspection, reporting & record keeping.
2. Provide training and education to the quality & production personnel, maintain the needed quality requirements throughout the production processes strictly following the Quality SOP & brand requirements.
3. Checking cutting, sewing, and finishing in-process quality control and reporting to the management.
4. Understand and follow the quality SOP in each step of the process, implement buyer’s every work manual & follow the quality standard to the production factory.
5. Conduct In-line Audit, an in-process audit in sewing, finishing, and packing.
6. Monitor the whole quality process of the assigned factory.
7. Conducting Final inspection and confirming the quality of the product.
8. Train up and lead factory nominated QA team directly.
9. Ultimate responsible person for factory quality controlling process from buyer end.
10. Ultimate responsible person for factory quality controlling process from buyer end.
11. Need to generate weekly quality reports and Monthly quality reports.
12. Reducing DHU%, improving first audit pass rate, reducing Inward Rejection and reducing customer returns.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Communication skills - speaking with clarity is very critical.
2. Degree in Textiles / Fashion tech.
3. Project management skills.
4. Analytical Skills and Process Orientation- Proficiency in MS-Office is must.
5. Previous experience in retail & e-commerce added advantage.
