Overview Chevron is hiring an HSE Specialist for a 14/14 rotational role reporting to the Bakken WFE HSE Manager. The role serves as an HSE resource for the Bakken Wells Life Cycle Management team and is accountable for supporting efforts to prevent incidents, with a strong emphasis on eliminating serious incidents and fatalities. The position provides guidance on the implementation and execution of processes and procedures that comply with HSE regulatory requirements and Chevron Operational Excellence expectations.
The successful candidate must be able to build strong, collaborative relationships with Chevron and contractor leadership, supervisors, and field personnel. The role is responsible for identifying HSE vulnerabilities, developing solutions, and implementing improvement plans to close gaps. Significant time in the field is expected, coaching and engaging with field personnel and leaders to promote and influence safe operations.
