
About the role
The Product Details Page (PDP)
is a critical touchpoint in the customer journey and a key driver of conversion
in any digital commerce experience. As a PDP Product Manager, you will be
responsible for optimising the content, structure, and functionality of PDPs to
maximize engagement, trust, and sales. Your role is essential in ensuring that
each page delivers the right information—images, descriptions, pricing,
reviews, and technical specs—at the right time, all while aligning with brand
standards and user experience best practices. By leveraging data, customer
insights, and cross-functional collaboration, you’ll lead initiatives that
directly impact performance, drive business growth, and elevate the overall
shopping experience.
You will play a key role in a
cross-functional squad and will collaborate very closely with Engineering,
Design, Research, Analytics, Business and API teams.
You will use research outputs, analytics,
market and business insights, and multiple experimentation techniques to build a
roadmap focused on customer pain points and business opportunities, thus
helping us to continuously improve the buying experience for our customers
across all of our propositions.
We are looking for a self-driven,
motivated & experienced Product Manager to join our strong product team
within a fast-paced organisation. You will be making a direct impact to our
customers' experience by creating an inspiring, yet simple, shopping trip with
innovative features and capabilities.
This position is based in our Farringdon, London offices 3 times a week.
You will be responsible for
§
Contribute to the product
vision, strategy and long-term roadmap for the product and execute it well by
constantly managing the stakeholder’s expectations, working through
dependencies across multiple products/ teams.
§
Accountable for
the performance/ adoption of the product and achieving the Outcomes and Key
Results (OKRs).
§
Understand key
user personas, customers & stakeholders for the product and their pain
points.
§
Understand and
demonstrate the features of the product to different audiences within and
outside of the immediate team.
§
Drive experiments
against defined hypotheses, creating robust data-driven decisions on product
improvements and their influence on product performance indicators.
§
Understands
product discovery and can establish minimum viable product (MVP) for any new
product/feature, collaborating with user experience (UX) and engineering teams
to prototype and validate the MVP.
§
Build and prioritise
a strategic product backlog.
§
Present your product
and its capabilities/outcomes to other Tesco Product areas and teams at TESCO
§
Effectively
document and explain new requirements to the engineering team using user
stories with personas and acceptance tests and help the team in breaking down a
complex piece of work/ epic into smaller, deliverable chunks of value that can
be delivered faster.
§
Steer sprint/
release planning sessions by working with the engineering counterparts to plan
sprints/ releases that deliver maximum business value in least effort.
§
Prioritise
coordinate and communicate the resolution of live product issues independently.
You will need
Online CX area
backlog, developing and executing product backlogs to achieve committed
Outcomes & Key Results (OKRs)
experiments and A/B Testing to roll out product improvements.
(UX) driven product developments.
