Within the Science & Technology Organization, we are building a strategic team capability focused on how commercial and product intent is translated into licensing structures and contract design that work for customers and for the enterprise. The Director, Licensing, Contracting & Commercial Architecture plays a central role in shaping this capability.
This role helps simplify complexity and reduce friction by establishing clear, reusable licensing and contract standards that scale across Segments and Regions. By engaging early in product development and partnering closely with Legal, Commercial, Finance, Operations, Product, and Technology teams, the role enables faster execution, fewer exceptions, and more predictable commercial outcomes as software and integrated solutions grow.
This role is being created at a pivotal moment as GE HealthCare modernizes how software and integrated solutions are licensed and contracted, offering a rare opportunity to help set standards that will scale for years to come.
In This Role, You Will Help Shape
This is a senior individual contributor role for builders who enjoy hands-on design, collaboration, and influence, with limited travel (typically under 15–20%) and the opportunity to help transform how GE HealthCare scales software and integrated solutions to tackle some of healthcare’s most important challenges for customers and patients.

We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $167,440.00-$251,160.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
