[HIRING] US Only: Looking for a very specific type of designer who can make investor presentations. A mix of typography, photoshop, illustrator, and the ability to visualize data in engaging ways. - $70/hour (10 to 25 hours per deck).
**EDIT:** *I'm getting a ton of DMs (which is great) but since we're headed into the weekend I am not quick to respond to chats. Please be sure to send me your portfolio in your first message so I can check it out later. Appreciate it :)*
I manage a startup accelerator that helps early stage companies (industry agnostic, but lots of medtech) refine their investor presentations. We have a team of world renown experts advise on everything from business and financial models to market and IP strategies, etc.
One of the areas that we are looking to add value is developing out the actual polished pitch deck that incorporates our mentors' advice into a deliverable for our startups to be able to use.
So I am interested in finding one or two pitch deck designers who are able to design full decks, using frameworks and guidance from our mentors.
Our budget is fixed at $70/hour (**non-negotiable**, as we are bound by some grant caps) and we believe we can allocate roughly 10 to 25 hours per startup. I recognize that this below market rate, but I would like to make these projects fairly consistent.
With that said, let me be fully transparent with expectations:
I started my career off in graphic design and have built my own firm that develops investor presentations for seed to Series A companies. I speak globally on the topic of investor communications and have more than 20+ years of experience in this world with nearly $500 million raised.
I say that because I see a lot of great designers who do terrible, illegible pitch decks, so I'm looking for someone with actual experience creating engaging visuals that communicate complex information in ways that critical audiences will be engaged by.
Investor presentations are not just powerpoints. I care about color, branding, details, font weights, and engaging visualizations that communicate information in effective ways and the experience to know how to tighten content up to keep things from going off the rails and turning into a wall of text.
Also, I can't stress this enough to save time: you **must** be in the United States, and you **cannot** be an agency. Our funding sources can only engage directly with a US-based freelancer. Ideally you live in Southern California, but we're flexible on that.
If you're interested, send me over some of your best work
